October 3rd, 2019: The B.H.S.-Convention

We are proud to announce that our research team has been given the pleasure and privilege to act as local hosts for the next Binocular History Society Convention. To be held at the historical Thermae Palace Hotel in Ostend (Belgium) during the first weekend of October 2019! 

​

Optics enthusiasts from all over the world will gather once again to attend this biannual binocular High Mass. The 2019 program looks quite promising so far. Numerous reputed international speakers have already made their commitment, as did the Raversyde Museum - the world's most reputed Atlantikwall museum. The development of German periscopes and opera glasses will be a central theme - amongst many, many  others...
